1. DISPATCH POLICY
Every effort will be made to ensure that the products shown in our on line shop are in stock but we can offer no absolute guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Contents may vary slightly according to stock. Goods are normally dispatched within 48 hours. If we are unable to despatch your order within 7 days, we will contact you by email with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order. Delivery is only within the UK.
2. PRICES AND TAX
The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout before you are asked to confirm the order. The price you pay will include VAT for all deliveries within the European Union.
3. REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Le Plat du Jour operates a returns policy in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations allowing you to return any item within 7 working days of receiving delivery of your order. Please note that any postage costs incurred when returning your items during this period will be at your own cost, unless the item is damaged, or was sent in error.
This policy does not extend to any items which have been opened or whose seal has been broken, perishable items, and also does not include the refund of services carried out by Le Plat du Jour as part of your contract (eg handling costs). Items must be returned in pristine and resalable condition. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
After the 7 day period we will be more than happy to accept items for return in any of the following cases:
1. The item was found to be damaged or faulty. We will either replace the item or give you a full refund (including postage costs). Please state which option you would prefer. If you require a replacement, we will wait to receive the faulty copy from you before dispatching a new one
2. The item was incorrectly supplied. If we have made a mistake in fulfilling your order, a full refund (including postage costs) will be given.
3. It must be in pristine and resaleable condition.
4. It must be accompanied by a copy of the delivery note or receipt.
Returns Instructions
Items supplied should be returned in their original packaging to:

Please make sure you contact us before returning any item either by e-mail at info@leplatdujour.co.uk or by phone on 01630 661536. Any item returned without our knowledge will be refused.
Please also note that the items remain your property until we have received them. You are therefore responsible for your goods while they are in transit to us. For your own protection we recommend using a secure recorded delivery method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
4. COLOURS
The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
5. CONFIDENTIALITY
Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
6. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
7. JURISDICTION
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
8. CONSUMER RIGHTS
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
